Henry Darger was a reclusive writer and illustrator from the Chicago who worked as a janitor throughout his life. Yet, it was only after his death that his amazing 15,143 page manuscript titled The Story of the Vivian Girls, in What is known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinnian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion was discovered. The book also gathered a number of amazing illustrations including these three:

35 years after his death (and discovery of his amazing work), his influence in rock n roll, art, and counterculture is undeniable.
