This project by Architect Greg Lynn. Was presented in the 11th Edition of the Venice’s Architecture. It cause such strong impressions that it got him the Golden Lion as the best installation project. Salute!

Loading ...For those of you that don’t know him yet, we’d like to present this controversial artist:
Vincent Gallo seems to have lived a number of lives in one. He was born in Buffalo, NY in 1961. He ran away from home when he was 16 and traveled through Europe before landing in Downtown NYC. He was one of the main player so the famous NY scene, where he was a painter, model, gigolo, actor, rocker, and rapper.
It’s only appropriate to say that he’s got an interesting bio. Yet, in relation to his work, Gallo possesses a masterpiece, a controversial work, and a great musical legacy. We hope this post will serve as a tasting of his work, and will induce you to explore further.
Up next a scene from the amazing Buffalo 66, a film which he wrote, directed, starred and made the soundtrack for. In it, he shares the light with the fascinating Christina Ricci.
This next trailer is for Brown Bunny. This was the movie that followed Buffalo 66 and received a bunch of press, as it shows Chloe Sevigny giving head to the legendary Gallo, on screen.

During this past summer, Coordination and Diephotodesigner.de toured the remains of the Berlin wall together with this object, photographing their impressions. According to the team behind this project, the images aim to demonstrate exactly how fast Berlin has evolved over the past 20 years, with a mix delicious mix of old and new.

Gracias a los esfuerzos de gestion de Droog Design y Scott Burnham, ahorita mismo se esta viviendo en Amsterdam el festival de intervencion de espacios publicos llamado Urban Play. Uno de los trece artistas invitados es el Sr. Sagmeister, quien junto a un sin fin de voluntarios logro montar su obra “Obsessions make my life worse and my work better” utilizando 250,000 monedas de 1 centavo de Euro y un chiiiiiingo de paciencia. Sin embargo, lo curioso del caso es que tras varios dias de montaje, la obra desaparecio literalmente de la noche a la mañana…
La intrahistoria cuenta que un man que vive en uno de los edificios aledaños y con vista a esta plaza noto que varios de los transeuntes que ambulaban por alli, pasaban palanqueandose las fichitas. Desesperado, frustrado, y sin saber que hacer llamo a la policia local y les informo que “alguien se estaba robando una obra de arte.”
A las pocas horas despues, la sensata policia holandesa (casi tan sensata como la policia guatemalteca) tomo la brillante decision de remover la obra, para asi “protegerla” ante los vandalos y ladrones de esa ciudad.

Algunos, en mi opinion, resultan poco practicos y pudieran ser mejor invertidos en otras areas con mas necesidad (sera mas importante la salud, educacion y calidad de vida que descubrir el origen del universo???)
Invito a nuestros lectores a comentar sobre este tema.
Y bueno… habiendo dicho esto, los dejo con una propuesta interesante por parte de la comunidad cientifica llamada Street Corner Science. La idea es colocar a ganadores de Premio Nobel y otros cientificos establecidos a que interactuen con gente comun del dia a dia.
En el siguiente video podran ver a Leon Lederman (galardonado por sus trabajos relacionados con neutrionos) contestando preguntas en una esquina cualquiera.

Arcade Fire viene del futuro. Con apenas dos discos producidos, esta agrupacion ha demostrado estar años luz delante del resto. Su primer disco, Funeral, recibio excelente critica y los coloco en la retaguardia del indie rock. Neon Bible tambien causo estragos. Y es precisamente de este album que queremos indagar hoy.
Lanzado en marzo del 2007, el album se acompaño con un website interactivo. El site es un experimento delicioso y demuestra la vision de la banda. Lo pueden encontrar aqui: www.neonbible.com
