Yes, a robotic insect.
This jewel was designed in Delft University of Technology, and is actually a “Micro Air Vehicle” (MAV). This tiny robot is remote-controlled and contains a small videocamera which sends the images over to a CPU.
It weighs only 3 grams, measures 10 centimeters in wingspan, uses a battery that weighs only 1 gram, and can fly up to 3 minutes at a rate of 5 meters per second.
