Imeüble is Bjørn Jørund Blikstad, a recent MFA graduate of the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, specialized in furniture design. His website is very minimal, and only contains documentation of one of his projects. Yet, that one project is this untitled bookshelf that is ohh sooo fine!

Indonesian designer Alvin Tjitrowirjo designed the ‘Linger’ Bench, a communal hand-made bench made of natural rattan wood. The design is obviously pleasing to the eye, yet what I particularly like about it the idea behind it: to get a group of people to come together and sit, linger, and socialize in it. Also, be sure to check out his three-person bench called “Mingle“.

Unplug Design studio have come up with a truly wonderful design concept called dreamball. It’s all very simple: redesigning the United Nations aid packages so that they can easily be assembled into different sized balls. That way, kids in worrisome situations can forget about their troubles for a while and play until they can play no more!

Sein is a Swiss graphic and design duo founded in 2004 by Thomas Walde and Alain Schibli, producing some great work partly inspired by urban art, streetwear, and furniture design. In particular, we like these two projects for their irreverence and solid sense of humor:
