These animated GIFS were conceived through the joint efforts between Ambush Studio, Moito, and Colectiva…

Apart from being in charge of the Art Direction and Wardrobe for the video we just shot for Archangel, our mates at Ambush Studio took it upon themselves to create this logo for the song. On the other hand, Moito (Master Sensei of the Animated GIFS in Colectiva), saw it in himself to animate them. Regardless of how you see it, the final result is sweet. Cheers then!

Finally, the time has come to unveil what thousands of internet enthusiasts have been waiting for: the official release of “How To Lose Your Best Friend” from London-based band Archangel. This is Colectiva’s latest project, which consists of two videos for the same single- a TV version and an interactive web video. Both were Directed by Eduardo Benchoam, Produced by Stefan Benchoam, D.P’d by Ari Issler, with Art Direction by Ambush Studio.

The videos were shot in Guatemala, and star Nick Webber (mastermind behind Archangel), Helene Tråsavik (Miss Norway 2005), and Gabriela Bounafina, amongst others. It also gathers a large group of partygoers that danced with all their might during the shoot, as well as a workforce that took it upon themselves to make sure that everything came out as sweet as chocolate.
